Šafránek’s works represent thebalanced fusion of creative vision and its technical execution. For him, painting is not merely an instrument in visualising an idea – on the contrary, he savours the act of painting in a physical, optical and meditative sense. When he is not painting, he is working on a picture mentally- ‘I paint in my mind’, as he says.
